With hard to fill roles, more senior roles or volume projects the successful candidates typically don’t come directly from job adverts.

This is usually because these candidates are not actively in the job market and simply don’t see your adverts in order to apply. We achieve this first and foremost by assigning you an Executive Recruiter who will have a minimum of 10yrs recruitment experience within the FMCG sector.

We will sit down with you to fully understand what you are looking to achieve within the hire and consult on any area's we feel may prove to be problematic from the outset.

The purpose of this initial meeting goes much further than simply collecting a job description as you may well find will be the case with a contingency recruitment product.

Instead we explore the current best examples within your organisation so that we can match your new hire to your existing team rather than just to a job description. We achieve this by carrying out psychometric profiling of your existing high flyers and match your new recruit to fit within the current team.

Once we are both happy and in a position to sign off the project brief we will produce a recruitment 'timeline'. The purpose of this so that you can be confident of the progress we are making without the need for numerous and time consuming progress updates allowing you to do what you do best, run your business while we do what we do best, finding you the right candidates to help you.

From here we start our search by using our own bespoke and mature AI algorithms to identify, select and approach potentially suitable candidates on your behalf from a variety of online and offline sources.

As part of the initial briefing meeting we will agree upon an interview process. 1 stage, 2 stages, 3. Face to Face or group assessment days - this really is dependant on what role we are looking to fill and how we want to both set the tone in terms of what the successful candidate can expect once they have started with you.

Why Retained Search?

We appreciate that contingency based recruitment plays an important part in the recruitment industry. For day to day hires that are typically filled via advert responses this billing model works very well for the you the client and for the agency.

However, when we come across a role that's more specialist, difficult to fill or you are needing a volume of hires quickly we need to look at how this will be best approached.

Project led recruitment allows us to fully focus our attention on your roles whilst at the same time gives you peace of mind that you have the undivided attention of a very experienced recruitment team to achieve a successful result for both sides. By comparison roles that are difficult to fill are often pushed to the back of the queue by contingency based recruiters as they need to spread the risk of not getting paid across there entire job book. Naturally in order to spread this risk they will lean towards easier or as mentioned above day to day hires as a result. This does have its benefits, however it is of little use to you when your role requires the recruiters full attention in order to consistently fill your hard to fill or senior positions.
